Parole denied for ex-Montana State football player connected to 2006 murder

"Montana's Board of Pardons and Parole has decided a man charged in connection to a 2006 murder will remain in jail for at least six more years.

John Lebrum, a one-time football player at Montana State University, pleaded guilty to robbery and received a 40-year sentence in 2008. Another man, Branden Miller, separately pleaded guilty to deliberate homicide and received a 125-year sentence."

"The investigation eventually uncovered a cocaine distribution ring that led to convictions against six football players and the head football coach's firing."

With stuff like this, why do the Cat trolls come over here to talk crap about criminal issues at UM? Hypocrites.

That football program made the cover of sports illustrated that year. "Trouble in paradise" was the title on the cover. Credit Rob Ash for pulling them out of the dumster fire they were in.

I feel that same way about cats trolling about legal trouble here. There is no excuse for some of the things that has gone on at UM, but MURDER? wasn't there some meth drug ring going on during that time too with a coach involved? I don't know the details as I was living out of state during the time.

Because much like the way the people of Bozeman simply ship their homeless to other cities, cat trolls (and most fans I've ever met) ignore any reality that does not fit their narrative.

Really though, it's frustrating to hear cat fans rag on and on about how much UM football players get in trouble with the law; when the cat fans either know nothing of their own shady history, or (perhaps even worse) they willingly ignore the negative parts of their past while putting others down.

NINETY days for raping a 15 year old girl TWICE. But, yeah, msu and their fans are the salt of the earth while UM is full of "thugs." Give me a break.

Contrast this situation and sentence to the Stanford swimmer (90 days and judge gets recalled) and Donaldson. Donaldson did the same thing, once, to a woman of age, and got clobbered The former Cat hoops player is lucky he wasn't a UM football player. He'd still be in prison.
