Paging Steven Pfahler

We need a S&C coach with GRIZ ties and GRIZ pride. Maybe an assistant coach that's a former GRIZ OL with bad ass attitude.

Any former GRIZ OL coaching currently or recently? Forbes has a bright coaching future, if he pursues coaching.

I asked this before, but what is wrong with the actual program? Are we complaining that line needs to gain more weight? I would say generally injuries weren’t terrible except those that that were more significant. Not a ton of hamstrings etc which can be a sign of poor S&C.

Ive heard if you looked at Griz players and cat players with their shirts off, the cats, as the kids say, are more “jacked” and managed to beef up a rs-freshman o-lineman by 65# in 2 years.

I'm surprised. I guess most fans are okay with our lines not being built up like NDSU, SDSU, and MSU. Finding a better Strength and Conditioning coach or program should be a PRIORITY!

Is there a way to earmark/direct donations solely for the S&C program?

I think we need to be stronger and larger up front on both sides, following the Dakotas + MSU mold a little more. That being said, I agree with the injury component being favorable. Would like to see something done about MSU’s constant hip drop tackles, however…

This is just by memory, so might not be 100% correct, but when you look at the Pro Day numbers for our lineman, they are never great. Not a ton of reps on bench. So from outside looking in, seems a lot of the lineman don't get stronger like you would hope.

Now that you say this...I also would say in general this is the case. Making more sense to me. Thank you everyone.
