Pac-10 basketball

Arizona 77 - 74 over #15 Oregon.

What are they going to do?..invite seven PAC-10 teams to the NCAA 'March Madness?' I can see UCLA, Washington St., Oregon & USC with Stanford, Arizona & Washington on the bubble. I hope all seven make it quite actually but I kind a doubt that it will happen.

I don't think UW is going to get an at large. They are under .500 in pac 10 play and are going to be in double digits in the loss column. I think the Pac 10 will get 6 teams in. UCLA had a tough time today without their point guard Collison. Washington State plays some great defense.

I agree GB1, I think only 6 will make it. I think UW is out.

That would mean then the Not In Tournament for the Washington Huskies I guess.

I agree that UW is not likely to get an invite to the big dance, but they would dramatically improve their chances if they play well at Pittsburgh next Saturday, and beat Washington State and UCLA at home....like I said, not likely to get an invite.

The PAC 10 tourney should be a dandy though. I haven't looked, but I assume it is in LA again, which bodes well for USC and UCLA.
