Over/under 500 career tackles for Robbie

Disclaimer: This is one of five threads that I started in response, or lack there of, from a challenge I put out towards a poster who was complaining of there not being any football related threads and that eGriz had essentially gone to shit. I challenged them to come up with five football related threads for us to comment on yet they failed to accept the challenge. Therefore I accepted the challenge myself to lead by example. Plus, we’re actually about to have real football again soon to talk about and therefore voiding any chance I had at picking at said posters for fun. Feel free to not comment.

5)Whats your over/under on 500 career tackles for Robbie Huack. After just two seasons, he currently stands at 36th in the schools all time rankings with 224 career tackles. With two years to go, plus these two spring games, he’ll certainly pass Dante who he is currently 172 tackles behind. After totaling 95 as a frosh and 129 as a soph, he is 276 short of 500. Averaging 138 as a Jr and Sr his last two seasons, which is only eight more then his less experienced So total, I think it’s perfectly feasible to see him break 500 and quite possibly push 520-530 even. The current Big Sky record is 473 by EWU’s Ronnie Hamlin, which at any rate, should be attainable.

I will take the over. He is going to get ALL the tackles...every single one.

Big Sky defensive player of the year...

It's a bold prediction, Cotton! Let's see how it plays out.

Over

Lets hope its under... If safeties are making that many tackles somebody is getting too many yards...

Typically I’d agree with you, except our defense actually tries to direct traffic to our LBs and safeties for all the tackles. It’s a completely different scheme.

You can't count the spring games, can you? Those aren't real games...

I heard that the statistics from these two games will count towards everybodies career records.

Take the under all day.
Looks like 500+ total tackles has only happened twice in fbs since 2005. Can’t find FCS top ten. Luke Kuechly is #1 with 532. Bobby Wagner and Manti Teo in top ten

none of them had 17 years of eligibility though, like these COVID-impacted players.... LOTS of career records gonna fall in the next 4-5 years...

How many of Manti Teo's tackles turned about to be imaginary?
