OT -- Quick travel help

Can someone tell me what highway 200 through Thompson falls is like to sandpoint? Is that a slow winding road? I am tired of the freeway on way to Seattle and don't mind a scenic detour and a stay in Sandpoint as long as it is not 45 miles per hour road?

Sorry for OT but any help is appreciated.

That is a good choice! Slow down for the bighorn sheep where the signs are. Other good routes from the Flathead are over Thompson Pass - turn left just across bridge past Thompson Falls. You come out on the freeway at Kingston (five miles west of Kellogg). The other good route is US 2 to Bull River Road which comes out on State 200 just past Trout Creek.

Beautiful drive and if you have time for golfing, T Falls has a nice 9 hole course, just wish they would get some sand bunkers. Hole 1 and 4 are fun teeing off at the top of the hill.

All good suggestions.
