Oregon QB Bennett to Transfer

how does anybody even know if Bennett has even heard of UM? every time some player wants to transfer or drop down, people on here assume they are heading for UM. I don't get it. :roll:

Where did anybody here assume he was going to UM? I just said he'd be perfect for the spread-option pass/run offense.

Most likely to another FBS school, but he is a prototype spread-option pass/run QB, and would start immediately for the Griz.

For me we have a game this weekend. Lets support the team and quarterbacks that we have and have prepared for South Dakota.

believe we will be okay with the young men we offered scholarships at qb....need to give them the time to develop

recall how hard some fans were on our now graduated place kicker and he turned out pretty well....

but the guy from Oregon will have to deal with a difficult decision for sure

I remember when Roper was going to be our savior.

..still wondering how Oregon gave Roper a scholarship in the first place..??? He was at his best an average qb in the Big Sky, which is not saying much.

I have to disagree... he was BELOW average for a Big Sky QB.

This kid potentially transferring is very interesting. I am hoping he does not choose PSU or another BSC team in the area. Why leave the NW if you don't have to? I support TM, but given our situation - any QB is going to be on a short leash. We need to win and win now. The hell with rebuilding, reloading, etc. The program has dealt with enough adversity and I don't care who captains the ship as long as we start and keep winning. Maybe I am unrealistic as hell, but the competition is licking their chops and one more hiccup (underperforming season) is not what we need. At this point TM has the reigns, but I welcome this kid with open arms considering his pedigree. Truthfully though, why the hell would he choose the Griz considering the unknown/unsettled business we are dealing with?

exposed as what? i don't live on here, had other things to do. if one should not assume the intent of Bennett's possible transfer to UM, why have a thread about the guy?
