I'm confused by this. TM was 14-17 for 126 yards...only THREE of those passes were completed to a running back....Hardy, Gratton, Warren and Henderson ALL had average YPC over 12....
We got exactly what we wanted in this game....we were running virtually at will against their defense, and the game didn't have to rest on TM's arm (even though he'd had great success up to that point as well). Sometimes shit just doesn't work out.

Griz Convert said:The fact of the matter is pass or throw we marched all over that throbbing hemorrhoid of a field. The problem was sometimes we forgot to make sure we were still holding the ball when the play finished. Sometimes we forgot which direction the sideline was and finished in bounds instead of out. The fact of the matter is EWU defense looked like crap compared to our offense run or pass but our own errors took a victory from us. Would I like to see the ball aired out a litte more, sure. But lets face it, the throbbing hemmorhoid got montana spike marks all the way up and down the field!
JAKEweezy93 said:sorry but yer way way off with this one. more recievers is better. they need to do that play from madden where 5 recievers go straight out toward the touchdown and one of them turns out to the sideline. no way any team could cover that. trent would be drillin those balls down the field almost every play. imho he got one of the strongest and most accuret arms that a griz qb ever had

Almost exactly HALF of those passing yards came on the last desperation drive though. :thumb:
You'll have to pass a lot more than that to beat the rest of teams on your schedule who have a better run D and healthier LBs than us.
You really don't have a clue what you are talking about, do you ?? You don't have a clue about football..........JAKEweezy93 said:sorry but yer way way off with this one. more recievers is better. they need to do that play from madden where 5 recievers go straight out toward the touchdown and one of them turns out to the sideline. no way any team could cover that. trent would be drillin those balls down the field almost every play. imho he got one of the strongest and most accuret arms that a griz qb ever had
