Opening Game

But then again, GB1, I can check out the white sweaters (as I have done in the past) when USC comes to town to play UW. I think the game is here in '07.
 
Man, this is pretty crazy. I heard about the US thing about four hours ago and was laughing my ass off, (only because it I thought there was no way), then I come home and there is a three-page thread. Nothing gets by GB1. I did in fact here, however, that UM is also talking to both Washington and Wazzu as well.
 
What would be interesting about USC is.... (besides the fact that they are team that is scary good) they rarely ever play I-AA teams, why would they start now? Wouldn't the 1.25 million be a record to pay a team to come in and play? I think it would be fantastic and a ton of Griz fans would make the trip to L.A., but can this be remotely serious?

This is thier tentative schedule for next year...

I think it would be great if the Griz played either UW or WSU. That would be a game that might be winnable?
 
Personally I'd rather we played Washington, Wassu, Oregon, Oregon St, Wyoming, Boise St, Nevada, Utah or BYU. It would be much easier for the Griz Nation to travel there.
 
Not to mention the Griz have a small legitimate hope of beating a few of the teams you mentioned. But playing USC would certainly be an experience for our players that they would remember forever.
 
USC should be ranked # 1 in the nation next year. Do you think they will play us? Would it not hurt them in the polls? That whole BCS thing? If they do play us will that would be bad ass. I would love to play UW or WSU also.
 
I call bullshit on this until I see some proof. Backer is always bitching at other posters for "starting rumors" every time a I-A coach gets fired, and he can't even give up a source on this USC crap. :lame:
 
I second the bullshit call...must be Jan and off season...what is next? USC qb is going to drop down and wants to come to UM!

This total bullsh*t. I know the board has been lame lately. I have to keep the interest level up. Tough job, but there are few imitators. But to insinuate that USC is going to play a IAA game is ridiculous. Some of you are too easily duped. Idaho needs the money more than UM does. There is no way they want out of that game.

I'm buyin' a JET...yeah a jet ....and I'm gonna learn to fly it this summer and now that we're in the PAC 10 I'm flyin to all the away games...and now we know why BH didn't take that stinkin' Stanford job. :beer2:

Do you honestly think I would do a thing like that? Come on, it's not like I am claiming I went to London, then spend my time on Egriz like some people.

Geesh, OK, one of the USC Song Girls whispered it in my ear. And maybe she said she wished the Griz were playing USC because it would be worth over a million dollars for her to see me again. I admit she was distracting me jumping up and down on the bed and all, but I think my post is as accurate as many others I have read on Egriz. :thumb:

We won't ever see these these teams on the schedule again. They don't pay enough. Washington and Oregon do.
