I am glad to hear Van Vliet is still on campus. I hope he walks on and proves LK wrong. To error is human. We all make mistakes. LK gave the benefit of a second chance to staff , but not a freshman. I believe everyone is allowed a second chance.

Talked to a player someone close to the team and Van Vliet and he is not walking on. He is up here to do community service and is not enrolled in any classes.

I think Tinks was of the same mindset as LK as for as Van Vliet moving on.

Eric seemed like a cool guy when I talked to him. Just a 18 year old that made a mistake.....whatever

Really he's a former Griz, and I don't know if he got a fair shake in that regard.

Like a coin, there are two sides to it, but the Coach gets to make the call every time. Eric will land on his feet and be a better person from the experiences he has in life. Griz BB was just a small part of what his life holds for him. I bet someday he will look back and realize LK maybe helped him doing what he did. Coaches don't take these things lightly.
