The game was much closer than 34-13. Didn't break open until the Griz tight end pulled in a score. Again, this is in reference to the flaky nature of less than BCS conference football. SHSU couldn't score in their spring game, yet they can reach a semi-final.

Um...the tight end pulled in the score with 5:47 to go in the first quarter making it 7 - 0. So that's when the it broke open?

What, did you read the ESPN Scoring Summary backwards or something accidentally?

The Griz led 28-6 in the 3rd quarter, not really much closer than the 34-13 score.

Sorry I changed the rules. You should be quite used to that happening on an hourly basis somewhere near the Potomac River. Definition of what constitutes sexual activity, definition of what constitutes illegal search and seizure, etc.

After going back and looking at the scoring summaries of the SHSU and James Madison game, it's clear to me I was probably projecting Walden's third quarter catch in the Madison game onto the SHUS game (the game, not necessarily the first quarter catch). The third quarter catch in the Madison game seemed to be the proverbial momentum changer, but the momentum change didn't pan out.

Don't bother approaching your next rebuttal as if I'm an adversary. I'm not. Madison game was as disappointing to me as I'm sure it was to all.
