Thanks. I feel the same towards you as a poster. As for the person you refer to, I think my accuracy rate is about 99% when it comes to outing him, but there are a lot of other posters probably as good at it by now. Re/Max, Alpha, BO25, Hammer, they all know the signs.

I have no problem disagreeing with anyone on this board, but when someone gets personal then I am done with them. There are only two posters who fall into that category, one is banned immediately when he shows up due to his own actions, and the other one is on ignore. I have no issue with CDA Zag fan, in fact, he posts a lot of good stuff. I may have misjudged him by applying old school "guilt by association" to him. In any event, I think we made our peace via PM. If not, I invite him to say so.

Now that GRIZ/ZAG fans are getting along, hopefully for good, I think this calls for a case of beer for the ISU game. Why don't we all drink to new found respect. :thumb: :beer2: :drinking:

You guys are better off not knowing him in any way, shape, or form. I am not going to waste either of our time telling you who he is. He ruined the UGMB board, and bragged he would ruin Egriz. To Chris and the Mods credit, that hasn't happenned.

I don’t mind some Zags discussion. Especially when the Griz are having a mediocre year.

I think there’s a lot of regional rivalry, as well as a lot of regional loyalty at work here. Hell, I’m always for the Zags when they’re not playing the Griz. I envy their program, I admit it.

Griz fans who get their dander up every time somebody mentions Gonzaga or pokes some fun need to grow some thicker skin.
 
What's with the love fest going on in here? You don't need to make nice if you don't want to. I don't understand how you can "cross the line" on the internets... Anything that comes your way on the internet is basically a result of something you set in motion yourself. I'm sure Lou or GB1 didn't register for this site and all of a suddent get bombarded with hate mail before they even made a post.

Isn't that what's great about the internets? Saying whatever you want without having to worry about the reprocussions? People may not value your opinion as much if you start spouting off random inaccuracies or insults left and right, but you are allowed to do that (at the mods discretion, though).

I enjoy getting all the different opinions on this board on a variety of topics and I don't let my feelings get hurt if someone behind a keyboard many miles away makes a rude comment.

Couple of thoughts:

1. I don't hate Gonzaga but don't see why threads about them differ from threads about FBS football, NFL football, women's softball, and the UEFA Cup. We have a catch-all "sports forum" for that stuff and I don't see Gonzaga as rating special treatment.

2. Quite a few of us could take a page out of mtgrizrule's book about remembering whose site it is, and quit running over to www.bobcatnation.com to fish for compliments about the Griz from an audience that you know in advance won't want to give any such compliments.

I guess my thinking is that it's different because it's college basketball. The forum description says this is a place for college basketball discussion. This is why I think things will get better now; everyone sees why the zag threads are: 1) In the right place, and 2) Not harming anybody.
