i thought a big difference in this game was the ability of calhoun to run the ball, something he never really got to show earlier in the season. he often gains the unexpected yards that good rbs produce, and it opened up the rest of the offense, or seemed to in this case, keeping in mind the opponent wasn't very good.

still wish he would've redshirted this year, though.

His redshirting was never even close. I do agree though, he is the best GRIZ RB. He is tough and has great awareness.

He can still redshirt. That was game 4. I don’t think Hauck will do that now though. I think he earned back his feature back spot.

Hauck absolutely won't.

Bad team or not, it shows a running game sure helps the rest of the offense. Not as much pressure on QB. Just saying.

Having Levi carrying clean up carries really shows a need to get a possible transfer for next year. Rey Green seems to be missing in action for some reason. Graduation will take a huge hit on personnel at RB.

Yep excited to see what Drew Turner can do too. He’s gonna be a good one.

It is very interesting that when the Griz lose the "eGriz experts" assign blame to one player or one coach, but when the Griz win it is solely due to a good running back. Like the other 10 players stood and watched the running back.

He could see the field next year especially if they don't get any tranfers in. I'm just as excited about Turner as I was Sulser.

What you should really hope for is an opportunity for him to complete his education & put his football career in the rearview mirror without another concussion. He’s injured literally every game appearance now. This afternoon, the camera shot shows him in obvious pain & @ some point a few plays later, he limps off the field.

It’s too bad he’s had to deal with all of it, but he’s young & here’s a lot to look forward to after 11/17.

I know it was garbage time but Janacaro looked like he could play.
He is a beast and should be our option for short yardage situations.

yes, anyone who watched him in high school knows the kid will be an impact player. He will be the next Chase Reynolds.

I would like to believe he would be our next Chase, but it is too soon to tell. We definately need a real running back or next year will be much of the same as this year. Eastwood can't go anywhere but into the back of his blockers. If they don't make a hole you could drive a bus through, he is down. Need a RB who can juke and jive!

Trust me when I say you’ll want to go back just a little farther in comparison terms & hope the kid turns out to be more like Lex Hilliard. Lex was a hammer with speed.
