O'Day breaks some good news

Though I'm a rabid Griz fan, I admit that I'm not very up to date on Griz football... so when I read on Jim O'Day's recently posted facebook message that Ty Gregorak was just hired as a football assistant? Meh! Or that Joe Montana was touring the campus today? Nice last name.

But the really good news from Jim was that Will Cherry was seen walking around campus without a noticeable limp.Good News in Grizzlyville for certain! Go Will! Go Griz!

Oops! Should have added, Here's O'Day's facebook post in verbatim:

"Another great day at Grizzly Athletics. Ty Gregorak returning as assistant football coach; Will Cherry walking without crutches (in tennis shoes) & seems to be doing better each day on his injured ankle; & Joe Montana was a visitor to the Hoyt Athletic Complex. Plus, former Baltimore Ravens/Arizona Cardinals player Justin Green is back finishing up a few credits to graduate & will be assisting the Griz football team."

Great news! Hopefully he can give it a go, still not optimistic that he'll play. The other options will be better with a week of practice but nothing like Will.

Awesome news GJ, especially Cherry walking this early. I guess those injuries look nastier to us older guys than they actually are for a younger athlete.
