It's better to be over-rated than not rated at all. And "not rated at all" is what category every team in the Big Sky falls into.
Maybe you're lacking the ability to be objective? If you can't give Gonzaga just a bit of credit for what they've done and who/where they play then you probably should just tune out and wait for football season to start in the fall. Duke, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Illinois and Memphis....two losses out of that bunch? Sounds over-rated to me. And that term gives absolutely zero respect to a talented, tough Saint Marys squad as well.
I've seen Lou post here a time or two and he doesn't seem to represent the Gonzaga fanbase in a positive light all the time but every fanbase has that element. My Lumberjacks included and.....shhhhh....even the Griz.

And is there hype surrounding Gonzaga? Absolutely. I will not debate you one bit on this fact. Hype is part of all sports. Hype regarding sports teams ultimately sets them up for failure as, by a lot of fan's definition of success, only one team ends the season successfully.
I won't waste your or my time anymore by making the mistake of attempting a conversation re: college athletics again. I probably shouldn't have said anything about you not being objective. I have no way of knowing or proving that. No reason to want to know.
