O-line conversation

By my count it took until the 15th post until somebody used the term "DOLA". This has to be a Egriz record.

73 Brandon Scott R-Fr. OT 6-7 320
78 Conlan Beaver R-Fr. OT 6-5 276

Man that is a young group.

The state of Montana will have a better crop of prep lineman for 2018 so we should have a decent shot at any one of them.

the beaver kid is my dark horse in the o/l....his tape shows ability and finish blocks, even when he was undersized ......kid is a player, with a chip....just wait....

Nothing wrong with an undersized beaver. His part of the line will probably have the smallest holes for the D to get through. But you don't want him to be over-used if he's undersized. Then he'll get soft and flabby and the D will have a much easier time getting through.

Rest assured the o-line coach has "keggler" exercises installed to keep things tight and strong, the kind that will cause the D players to quickly be spent.
