This kid is crazy good...watch the video

He is quick to full speed. I like that. Not a lot of dancing around to get to where he wants to go. Little guy, but tough. He will be a solid Griz if he stays healthy.

That is a great highlight video, and he is a huge talent. Catches tough balls, including in traffic, breaks an amazing number of tackles, is shifty, has great speed and acceleration, and knows where the end zone is. The Huskies are crazy to have offered only a preferred walk-on, in my view.

How fast is he? Did he run track?

That might honestly be the best recruiting video for a Montana recruit I've ever seen.

I'd go with 1) Matt Miller and 2) Sulser. But that's great company for Gabe, so well done

I know he ran track, mostly hurdles if I remember correctly. He's one of those athletes that is very fast with pads on, some loose speed from pads. He looks so much faster than anyone else on the field. Tremendous balance, he could play both ways, excellent DB also.

I know he was a state champ trackster as a sophomore, either in hurdles or straight sprint

He was not fast enough to be a straight sprint champion.

He won the 110 M Hurdles as a Soph, going 14.40. Took 5th in the 100 M Sprint as a Soph, running 11.42. Took 7th in the 200 M Sprint, running 22.90.

He's faster than that. Just watch him run. He trains a lot harder for football than track.

He looks extremely fast on his tape, and way faster than anyone chasing him.

gabe is special as a 9, 10 and 11th grader in high school....i wonder how special he could become ? ... if he ends up at 5'9" or 5'10" and puts on the proper weight (muscle), say 180 pounds , he could be really be special by the time he is a junior and senior in college....have to wait and see, and no injuries please..go griz !!!!
