Northern Colorado playing UNC Wilmington on ESPN2 in the CBI tourney. At least they get some extra practice in after the end of the season.

UNC Wilmington was the team that dropped out of the zoo town classic this season because of a flu outbreak. They struggled in non-conference but really turned it on in conference play. Tough night for UNC. Thank god Bodie Hume and Daylon Kountz are graduating at long last.

I understand what you are saying, but I think extra basketball team practice is overrated in comparison to extra team football practice. It seems much more difficult to improve in football without the ability to mimic game situations. Whereas basketball seems like you can get a good deal of improvement in drills that don’t require 5-on-5. The basketball season seems so much longer that an extra two weeks wouldn’t necessarily move the needle.

Is this true? They may choose to move on, but I think both have the extra Covid year if they choose to take it. I think Kur Jongkuch may also have another year. But again my pet peeve has been there is no uniformity in terms of how schools have listed their player’s eligibility. Anderson, Blakney and Parker were all listed as seniors, but Anderson and Parker each has an additional year of eligibility.

Jongkuch, and Hume were both honored at senior night back in Feb, so their eligibility is gone, but Kountz still has another season left as a Bear.

Bodie Hume has been at UNC for like 12 god damn years. He has to be out of eligibility by now.
