Noise question

Does anyone know the rule on if the band can continue to beat on their drums after the offense has broken the huddle? Because the NDSU band is literally just rapping on their drums while CCs offense is at the line.

Not supposed to but I've never seen a penalty come out of it.

Yep, not supposed to. There is some cushion where the band can play for a few seconds after the huddle breaks, but typically has to stop as soon as the offense lines up. Pretty sure the refs could throw a penalty if they really wanted to. I think I've only seen the referees give a warning in that scenario.
