no love from Phil Steele

I love it when so called experts discount the Griz. It has happened many times before and the Griz proved them wrong nearly every time. However, eventually the detractors will be right and this year the Griz appear to be as vulnerable as ever, all things considered -- but then again that's why they actually play the games...
 
20 is about right...new coaches...new QB...new corners...and then they play the games!!!
 
it's good to be under the radar now and again! Who cares what the pundits say or write. None of it matters if you are confident in who YOU are and that your approach to success is just! 8-)

The Montana Grizzlies are going to have one hell of a running attack on offense. They have the best running backs, the best offensive line, and the best tight ends in the Big Sky. Trent Mckinney can flat out run the ball I think he looked better than Johnson running the ball out of the zone read. The Grizzlies will again have the best front 7 in the Big Sky and our secondary is not as bad as everyone thinks. From what I have heard their kicking and punting game look solid as well. Going to be a very, very good football team THIS season SCARY GOOD!

Now, I have to admit, that is one of the funniest posts I have read here and there are some great ones. And, I think it might be more true than you realize! :clap: :thumb:
 
Phil Steele is "The Man" when it comes to prognostication. Where would we be rated now that JJ gone?
Phil has us about right IMHO.....we shall see?

Just calling em as I see it, I think the Griz will be darn good this season despite what most people are saying. I think Bob'scat will struggle especially early with their offensive and defensive lines as well as special teams (field goals mainly) this season. I don't care how good your skill players are if you can't protect or create space your screwed. Your receivers will look pretty average without Elivs out there drawing double and tripple teams every play next season. Montana kicked your ass 36-10 in your stadium last season and we didn't even have Jordan Canada, what did we have 500 yards rushing? Why don't you drink that down I think that will be a little stronger than you are use to.
