No love for the Griz by the bookies...

Surprisingly the bookmakers are not high on the Griz... right now there is great value on a very dangerous team. Of the 8 remaining teams, they view the Griz as the 7th best chance to win it all?!

Merry Grizmas starts coming early this Friday, take the money line and the Griz with a futures play on the Title :thumb:

We should be the underdogs. Will be again if we win. Our kids will show up and play hard.

It's all about our path to the championship. They think we're underdogs against JMU and massive underdogs against NDSU.

We're likely going to have to beat arguably the two best teams in FCS on back to back weeks just to make the title game, and the odds reflect that.

What’s even more strange is that we opened at +1800, and after a win we’re now +2500. The odds should’ve moved the opposite direction.

If you’re a bettor that’s great news and value, but it is slightly strange.

5.5 point dogs is actually pretty damn respectful being that jmu is at home and that is usually worth 3 points. I think that’s about right. I think the winner of this game wins by 4-7 points.

Second: EWU
Quarters: JMU
Semi:NSDU
NC: *Insert JV team from other side of bracket for Championship

I don't fault the odds makers one bit. That's a nasty run to win it all.

NCAA. COM has GRIZ at #4

Correct me if I’m wrong, sir, but if we beat the best two teams, back to back, doesn’t that make US the best team?

Only if we win the championship after that. ;)

My understanding is if we beat JMU and NDSU, the actual game in Frisco is just an exhibition match…you know, gladiator against a lion type thing…. :D

Is this sort of like sex after marriage?

It’s EXACTLY like that.

Please excuse me, I have some information to pass along.

Not sure this is the case at all. Villanova has beaten JMU this year, SDSU and SHSU both beat NDSU this year and they are on the other side of the bracket. Maybe we got the good draw after all.
