The "dangerous weapon" classification of his shoes is what likely made his sentence a lot harsher.

Sounds like the guy is a total tool. He sat away from his attorney for his attorney's protection. If you are on trial for stomping a guy's face into a bloody pulp & robbing him, beating one of your girls until she bleeds from her ears AND you have to be seated in a restraint chair away from your own attorney because you might pimp-slap him if he f%*ks up, it may be time to reconsider how you are leading your life. That or buy some lighter less dangerous shoes so you can beat and stomp people without it being too dangerous.
