NFL Reimburse MT Taxpayers

What I was suggesting is something to make the NFL pay more to develop young talent like baseball and hockey, which have their own farm clubs in addition to talent going to college. Colleges have been farm clubs for the NFL for decades. Most all of NFL players have attended college or have college degrees. I don't equate the NFL-college symbiosis with say a drug store having to reimburse expenses for a pharmacy graduate to work there. No, the NFL-college model is unique; that's why I suggested the idea.

Yes, a glass "roof," "dome," "canopy," whatever, would make WaGriz even more unique in the FCS. Being glass, it wouldn't be the dark, dingy atmosphere of the Vandals & Bizon's closets. Most importantly, it would raise the comfort level of fans & teams, while still showing the sky, Mt. Sentinel, etc., maintaining a sense of being outdoors. Also, night games could still be played under the existing lights. Football has moved beyond, in case you haven't noticed, the "three yards and a cloud of dust" mentality. Fans & teams don't have to be miserable just "for old times' sake." Bring WaGriz into the 21st Century.

Have to disagree. Washington-Grizzly is great partly because it is outdoors. Looking at the sky and the mountains through some sort of bird shit streaked glass dome is like going to the zoo to see a lion vs going to Africa to see a lion. And how different would the sky divers be if instead of landing majestically at the 50 yard line they just plowed into a plexiglass barrier like bugs on a windshield high above the heads of the faithful. That could be traumatizing. For God sakes, won't somebody think of the children.
