NFL is acquiring a 10% interest in ESPN

What does this have to do with Griz Football and the FCS?
Griz football and other FCS games are often on ESPN? Cat game in Frisco was on ESPN. Three FCS games on Aug. 23 are on ESPN2 and ESPN. May FCS games are on ESPN+ every weekend. The FCS has a large contract with ESPN and makes good money from it.

"FCS Playoffs to Remain on ESPN Through 2031-32

January 4, 2024 by Fear The FCS

Only a few days before the 2024 FCS National Championship, the NCAA announced a new TV rights agreement with ESPN for 40 championships. The FCS is one of the championships in the package worth $115 million per year ($920 million total).

The FCS Playoffs will continue to be shown on ESPN and its various networks starting with the 2024 season through the 2031-32 season. The national championship game will be broadcast on ABC annually under the terms of the agreement. ESPN has shown the FCS National Championship on one of its networks each season since 1995."

Are you not aware of that? What a dumb question from you?

I pay for ESPN+ and NFL+ (for my grandpa and to follow Griz in the NFL). Both are now over $100 each annually. Maybe with this acquisition there might be hope that I just need to purchase ESPN+ this year or that there might be a cheaper bundled price in subscribing to both platforms.
