Nfl draft/ fcs

Kind of a slow day for picks fcs/division 2 players, I could find only 3 picked so far after the first 3 rounds
They had Jeremy chinn from southern Illinois and Kyle duggars from lenoir-ryne taken in the 2nd and Adam trautman from Dayton taken in the 3rd.

Chinn from SIU was kind of expected, although perhaps one round further along. The Dayton guy came out of nowhere (for most of us anyway) and makes quite a story for that program. And the D-II find just tells you how extensive the NFL scouting network really is.

Just shows if you are good enough teams will find you ,no matter where you are from..

Actually Trautman the Dayton TE was high on a ton of draft boards. He was consistently ranked one of the top two or three FCS choices

Most draft experts considered him a top tier TE this year.
 
Losing on campus pro days due to the Covid-19 pandemic hurt many smaller school players. Most aren't invited to the combine, and rely on their schools' pro days to test in front of pro scouts. The number of FCS players has dropped over the past couple years, but this was the fewest I can remember in years.
