Next Season?

I just finished listening to a decidedly mediocre season sputter to an end with a one and done tournament performance by the Griz. Worse yet, I am having a hard time seeing any strong reason for optimism for next season. Kareem Jamar is done! How does this team get any better next year? Certainly, with what little we know about recruiting, it is hard to have anything but limited expectations for next year. :(

A possible starting five of Dunn, Deshields, Gregory, Wiesner, and Breunig gives me great optimism for next year. Tinks and company will really need to see if Martin and Kemp can get up to speed or they'll have to go find a guy that can grab rebounds in the juco ranks.

Looking back to the more recent MSU game and with Jamar in foul trouble they ran Dunn, Deshields, Gregory, Wiesner, and Martin and it stretched the lead. Losing Jamar really hurts but it's not the end of the world. I'm looking forward to next year already.

The Griz went to back to back NCAA tournaments, and are constantly playing in the conference championship to get there again. You have a great coach and a ton of talent, most Big Sky schools wish they could have 1/2 the success of the Griz B-ball program the past decade...

You guys will be just fine next year.

I would like to see Kemp given a real chance to play significant minutes at the four. He really is not a five (nor is Weisner) and I think his potential for productivity at the four is pretty good. Also, I think/hope our rebounding woes would largely dispappear with both Breunig and Kemp on the floor.

This. I would like to see Gregory, Deshields, Dunn, Kemp, Breunig. Wiesners productivity shot through the roof when he was taken out of the starting lineup.

I don't know if many of you noticed, but Kemp has one hell of a mid range jumper (see warm-ups). He would be a great 4.
