Newspaper for Maine?

Does anybody know the site of the local Maine newspaper, and do they have an active message board?

That would be the Bangor Daily News -- www.bangornews.com -- or the Portland Press Herald -- www.portland.com -- and no, neither have message boards. The Black Bear Forum -- which is no way as fancy and well represented as this one -- is at www.voy.com/101560/.

the message board on ESPN is very, very lame, but then alot of those boards are anyway.

Many of the links to Maine papers and chat sites can be found on the Griz Fans Guide to Maine, www.azsrp.com/FB/maine03.htm. I've been watching the Bangor paper most of the summer and I think I have yet to see an article on the football team. Maine Today (sports) is shared by Portland, Kennebec, and Waterville, but the few articles posted there are by the Portland PH. UMaine's site has an occasional article. There are a few campus news links, but most have been idle through the summer. The Daily Jolt has a somewhat active Sports Forum, but needs some Griz fans to stir up some football talk. The ESPN site has had nothing but BS all summer. Maybe not but a handfull of mentions about football. A few Griz have shown up to agitate the crud that hangs out there. A Campus Forum doesn't appear to have any sports talk. The Black Bear Forum is as mentioned.
