Me too. I am very high on Chalich. I think we are a better team with him than anyone else. He has better running skills and a better arm in my opinion.

We will see come spring ball. Better arm than Prater? Did you see the video of Prater in passing drills? That dude has a great arm. I'd like to see Chalich in a drills video like that. If Chalich is even close in the arm strength, then we are better at QB than any of us expected just a short time ago.

I was already high on Simis and Pflug. It would be awesome to actually be confident in 4 qb's. :thumb:

Also interesting on Prater is that I believe he is currently 24....... Graduate as our 28 year old QB.

I'd take Prater because he has four years left of eligibility, really gonna be fun watching Prater/Simis/Pflug grow together in Stitt's offense. :thumb:

Prater has a rocket for an arm. The strongest of the three. I was comparing Simis and Chalich. I really can't come to any conclusion on Prater other than his arm. I think Pflug would benefit from a red shirt year. He's got the best scrambling ability. But as a complete QB, give me Chalich. I think we have an awesome group of QB's. I think any one of them can/will be successful in the new system.

One thing to remember when evaluating these guys, is that what a player show's on the practice field and in drills may make him look like a world-beater and as good as the other QBs but what he does in real game situations is what really matters. Just ask Cat fans...

Other than Prater's arm strength, he likely has intangibles the others will be hard pressed to have early. I am sure his military experience has instilled leadership skills that coaches love. Also, a qb has to be respected, how can any teammate not respect a man who fought for our country? Each and every teammate cannot question Prater being able to fight side by side with and for his team. Plus being married, he is grounded and like more motivated than your average young player/QB. I

If Eric Prater does indeed transfer into Montana, with Bob Stitt's offensive savvy, four years of eligibility, the likes of (hopefully if he fully recovers) Ellis Henderson (4), Jamaal Jones (4) Ryan Burke (3), Josh Janssen (2), Chis Naccarato (3), Taylor Walcott (3), plus others, are more than likely drooling in anticipation:

Nice find there WG. As for Prater, from what I hear. He has or is enrolling this semester. His wife is from Montana. I am sure someone who knows him or his wife personally can add to this.
