Interesting hire. From Hawaii (FBS) to Montana. I wonder what made hime take the job as he has several years of experience in Football Operations at the FBS level (Hawaii and UNLV). I get that Missoula is awesome and he worked with Hauck at UNLV, but this seems like a big step down for him.

Maybe hes a guy that sees an opportunity to ride a program and coach back to dominance, therefor making everyone on that staff look good, and if that happens he lands a Pac12 or Mountain West job?

Hawaii seems like a good place to get stuck career wise.
