Hmmmmm........zzzzzzzzzz

New perfume, but same old.........this is the best our wizards can come up with?

Keep in mind the logo is for the University, not the sports programs.

It's pretty clean and simple.

I like it. Incorporates Mt. Sentinel with the M. Creative yet clean and simple at the same time. Nothing worse when they try to get fancy and go overboard with logos.

I like it, and it was designed in-house so money wasn't wasted on outside "consultants".

Reminds me of a logo you'd see for one of those online Universities. To me it gives the impression that we are new to this whole University thing..

Nice design, but it lacks strength and tradition.

University of Montana spending $200K to develop brand >> http://www.matr.net/article-47060.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Article is from 2011. the plan may have changed.

The branding project is much more than the logo. That may be where the differences in dollar figures are coming from.

Chris should be able to provide some insight on this. I believe he had a hand in the project.

The logo and brand were developed in house (by University employees) using the research and data received from the outside consulting firm. Nothing near $200K was spent on that research and no additional dollars were spent on the logo/brand development.
