Just plain silly talk.
Smack aside, last years ranking really hurt the kitties. Face it, lose to the Griz, squeek by New Hampshire on missed extra point and then quit against Sam Houston isn't exactly a championship resume. The kitties may very well have been capable of much better football, but I think they were way too busy basking in the glow of the number 1 ranking. Professional baseball players say 'you can't believe your own bulls**t'; I think the kitties would have really benefited from less bulls**t and more preparation.
Hmmm. Well as everyone knows... it's damn tough to get to the title game, let alone win it, as griz fans very well know. Bobby did an incredible job getting you there several times. Will Pflu be able to even get you to the title game? Time will tell. As for the CATS, we've gotten better and better every year under Ash. If that holds I like our chances in 2012, for a Semifinal appearance if not the title game.
I think we have 2 starters back on the OL (Sampson and memory). Hopefully the 3 new guys step in without much of a drop off. Hard to say, though.
Same with kickers. We brought in a jc guy and a hs guy. Hopefully one of them is the real deal.
