This isn't surprising in the least. There wasn't a lot of evidence besides the Missoulian article that Washington had given a verbal. No posts on twitter, instagram and all his activity seemed to indicate that he was still putting himself out there for class of 22 opportunities. A new club team, a new prep school and so forth. So that this was the outcome was not a shock.

Playing the likes of Dixie State, Tarelton State, UT Rio Grande Valley, UVU, Chicago State, Seattle U?

Not sure I understand this move, unless it’s solely about being closer to home.
