Being discussed in recruiting thread. Looks like a 2 Star safety out of Hawaii who just signed with SUU but flipped to Griz somehow.

would be nice to know how this happened.

He thanks Jimmy Morimoto Montana Assistant AD a thank you in his tweet so I'd guess thats the connection.... somehow.

So does this mean he didn't sign a letter of intent with SUU, but just gave a verbal? I didn't think a player could flip after signing the letter, but I'd be interested to know the rule. Thanks!

Gogola article said he signed with SUU on Feb 6 at the normal signing date. Maybe SUU let him go with no complaint. Guessing that’s the only way it could happen.

I think Frank's article is inaccurate because there is nothing on the southern utah side saying he signed a LOI with them.

247 sports is not an official school affiliate. And those that follow recruiting fairly closely know how they are often off when it comes to FCS schools. He was a preferred walk on at SUU and will be here. He’s going to have to come in here and work for it. So let’s stop anointing him the next best thing. Let the kid come in here and earn those expectations.

:? Just posting what I found. Not sure why you care so much and I haven't "anointed" anyone nor do I expect him to get anything he doesn't earn on his own merits. Too much caffeine?

Yeah that was a little strange, I didn’t see anyone anoint him anything. Also if he was only a preferred walk on maybe that’s what lets him transfer with no penalty?
