Just for fun, wanted to look at the extreme long-shot scenario that would allow Montana to win the Big Sky Conference.

Standings right now for teams with 2 or less conference losses:

1. SUU 5-1
2. Weber 5-1
3. NAU 5-1
4. EWU 4-2
5. UM 4-2
6. Sac St 4-2
7. MSU 4-2

Here's all that we need to happen.

Southern Utah lose both games @ Davis and vs NAU
Weber State lose both games @ PSU and vs ISU
Northern Arizona Lose to MSU this weekend, beat SUU next weekend
Eastern Washington Lose one of their games @ UND or vs PSU the next weekend
Sacramento State Lose one of their games @ CPLSO or vs UCD
Montana State Beat NAU and lose to Montana

If that all happened, the final conference would look as follows:

1. UM 6-2 (tie break having beat NAU)
2. NAU 6-2 (tie break over Weber having beat SUU)
3. SUU 5-3 (tie break having beat Weber & since Weber beat EWU)
4. Weber 5-3 (tie break having beat EWU)
5. EWU 5-3
6. MSU 5-3
7. Sac 5-3

(Also I think if UCD wins both of their games they'd be 5-3 and I think ahead of Sac, maybe MSU too, but not EWU).

I know I know... not gonna happen. But I can dream! Honestly I'd say there could be a marginal chance... except I think Weber's final two games are easy wins for them.

Any of those scenarios are possible with the exception of WSU....there's no WAY they're losing both those cellar dwellers.

Then again, any of those scenarios are possible....but needing ALL of them to happen might be a bit much to ask for..

Weber State @ PSU-nope.
Weber State vs ISU-and nope.
Northern Arizona vs MSU-depending on which teams show up.
Northern Arizona @ SUU-like I said, possible.
Eastern Washington @ UND-w/out Gage, possible.
Eastern Washington vs PSU-nope.
Sacramento State @ CPLSO-nope.
Sacramento State vs UCD-depending on which teams show up.
Montana State vs NAU-possible.
