I'll never forget the day I visited the reflecting pools where the TT stood. Even though there were hundreds of people there, one could hear a pin drop, as people held reverence for those who perished there. A very moving experience.

Same. A very somber, moving place.

Freedom is not free and is a privilege. I lose sight of that all too often. God bless the men and women that serve to protect our country and our freedoms.

went there when it was still a hole in the ground. it was vast, and the experience was incredibly sad.

Agree, took my kids there a few years back. Incredibly moving, and a reverent tranquility within such a loud, bustling, place.

I was fortunate to be able to visit Ground Zero in 2007. I’ll never forget looking into the pit and seeing the two steel beams shaped in a cross with part of the plane wreckage mangled around it. It’s hard to explain the emotions of actually seeing it in person.

20 years ago. Half of most college football teams weren't even born yet. The silence of absolutely no aircraft flying, anywhere, was impressive.

Never forget that there are tens of thousands of people who can’t get the images of that day out of their heads. Never forget, but pray those traumatic memories fade for many.
