While looking at the paper this morning, I read that in today's FCS NCAA Championship Football game, there are 7 players from James Madison and four players from Youngstown State "suspended".
My question, for you much more in the know than I, is what are these "suspensions" for? If they are serious enough to suspend for this game, surely the NCAA will be handing out stiff penalties to the two schools involved for years to come. Won't they?
After all, we had many devastating penalties (loss of scholarships, giving up wins, losing coaches and ad's, etc) for an allegation against an individual who was later found "INNOCENT" in a court of law.
I'm sure I don't have all the facts straight here, but I would really like to know what gives here?
