NDSU ROLLED COLORADO ST

NDSU is on a completely different level than everybody else in FCS. With that defense, I don't see anybody beating them. Of course, it's a long season...
I think it's tough to judge how good our defense is based on who we've played so far. I think our toughest competition (prior to playoffs assuming we make the playoffs) will be the first few weeks of the conference schedule, but the D is looking very good so far. Following the blown coverage that gave CSU their only score, CSU went 3 plays for -8 yards, 1 play for -1 yards (safety), 3 plays for -9 yards, 3 plays for -4 yards. But again, who knows how good/bad CSU is.

I'm also basing it on what the Bison did to Sam Houston last year. They're the only team that shut 'em down. The only thing that could stop NDSU this season is injuries.

I'm surprised... I was convinced EWU would win & NDSU would lose. Remind me to never predict games again!

Good call.

Especially if you think EWU would beat anyone but Idaho......................or possibly Colorado State.

NDSU is an awfully well coached team. They have a great run game, and a dominant defense. Call it a hunch, but I'd be willing to bet money that if they repeat they lose another coach or two, and maybe their head man. Good coaches are hard to keep around, as Griz nation knows from experience. Good luck to NDSU, and I hope to see you in the playoffs...it would be a battle of epic proportions!

NDSU coming to Washington Griz in the playoffs would be sick.

They would have to lose a game or two first I suppose.

I wouldn't want to travel to the Fargo dome in the playoffs...

Their D-coordinator went to Southern Cal as a LB coach this past offseason, if I remember right.
