Word out of Fargo is Deluca is done for season with an injury. Hope it's not true. That guy is a total stud. If so that would be 2 Buchanan finalists done for the Bison in the same season. Ouch.

Update: #NDSU confirms #Nick DeLuca has a non-ACL knee injury. DeLuca is still being evaluated and his status for Saturday is questionable.

I don't think EWU has any chance tomorrow. NDSU could play most of their 2s and still win.

I honestly don't know who to root against more in the EWU v. UNDSU matchup. When it comes down to it, I think I'd like to see EWU get blown out or the T-Buffs lose on a controversial, or even blown, last second call. Implosion among fans either way.

The good news is he has not used his redshirt and will return for 2018. Marty Mohamed will start the rest of the season. He had 22 carries for 97 yards against SJSU last week filling in for Protheroe. Solid replacement, but Protheroe will be missed.

Protheroe's injury hurts Cal-Poly a hell of a lot more than anyone to NDSU, who is loaded at almost every position. Of course the Griz don't play Cal-Poly this year now that they are an easy "W".
