I enjoyed this video, even though there wasn't a huge amount of interesting things said. Everyone, including Bobby, was in a good mood. Bobby and the 2 Griz showed a huge amount of respect for SDSU. Bobby said SDSU clearly has the best defense in FCS. It was interesting to see what various sportswriters looked like that, after having seen their names for so long.
Bobby and the players again said that the 2021 and 2022 teams had the potential to be in the same shoes as the 2023 team is now, but they weren't healthy.
Bobby said, several times, that the additional weeks of preparation for the game will allow the team to be much better prepared. A question was asked about Tim Hauck's impact on the defense, and Bobby essentially said it was very significant. It's my hope that Tim and the other D coaches will have come up with a great D game plan for the D to execute. I'm hoping this is the advantage we need to hang with the Jackrabbits. Bobby also said that Tim had come up with some "coverages" that the team had used this season. I don't know exactly what that meant.
I think Bobby said the team got back together on Xmas Eve.
