NAU Women Win BSC Tournament Championship

NAU women just beat Weber 74-59.

The Lady Griz are not likely to get a WNIT berth as a result of ISU's loss last night to Weber. The WNIT reserves 8 spots for regular season champions who get beat in their conference tournaments. As a result ISU is likely to get one of those and the chance of the Big Sky getting multiple berths is pretty slim.

Look for NAU to be tough again next year. They have 4 starters back and their top 2 scorers back. Now that post player for NAU is good, Alyssa Wahl, she can score. Good player. I was also impressed with their freshman guard, #4 Sade Cunningham. She is going to be a star for them.
