Replace the ax with a box of ephedrine and the roided Hugh Jackman look would fit perfectly.

Not bad.
That hatchet-esque logo is perfect for an FCS school. You'd never know where they're from or what they produce. Could be a welding school, could be an institute of secretarial skills. Easily forgotten by the FBS school that paid six figures to kick their asses.

The new logo is better, but still in the monotonous class of many other schools, a collective of "cool" bland swishes, and swirls that sort of resemble something. As for the lumberjack, aside from having anger management issues he appears to be in his mid 30s, and most likely unemployed. 
Other than that I like it. How much did they hafta $hell out? $100? $250?
