i'm betting that he's not a "bowl guy".... indeed, why anyone would hire a "bowl guy" to coach in a division where success in the playoffs is THE main measure of overall success? it seems like a playoff-division school hiring a "bowl guy" would be conducive to his coaches not putting in their best effort during the most important part of the season. they probably would be taught that their season should be over, and that they had 'succeeded' by simply extending the season one "bowlish" game.
good thing the griz have never... what? oh.
