Murray (not Choate) is why Cats have won 2 in a row

Murray is a singular talent - he regularly makes our defenders look silly as he gets first downs that lead to TD's. Our best defenders get outran, outmaneuvered, and/or lose grip of him. And Lesane was a stud 220 RB with speed who is now graduating. Replace Semore, but Stitt's offense is not the problem. Anyone who watched the whole season knows this. Give Jensen and the young WR's another year in this offense, add the electric Terron Moses to our already solid RB stable, and the balance tips to us next year. It's been damned hard the past 2 seasons, but have a little patience and we will be rewarded...

Murray is not good. Maybe as a wide receiver or running back he would be but he’s a horrible quarterback

Wrong. Choate’s players love him and would run through a brick wall for him. He inspires his players and coaches them up - opposite of Stitt, he simply manages talent.

No, our oline is going to take a serious hit next year. If Murray could throw the ball Mitch Herbert would be a serious threat. It would have been even worse. It's not going to get better next year. Bite the bullet and get rid of Stitt and start again.

Disagree. In the right system, and Choate has done a good job with the offensive scheme, he is fine as a FCS QB.

I don't buy it. Choach is a proven winner at MSU. He's won almost ten games.

He sucks even though he is 2-0 against the Griz. Screw him!

I disagree, respectfully. I think he's the long term answer in Bozeman. Especially if his teams keep beating the Griz.

Nope...Choate gets his team in the right mindset for this game. Other teams control/limit Murray, Griz don’t.

Stitt's offense is not a problem? Two TDs was going to win this game? Turnovers and the stupid 4th down call that resulted in the LaSanne TD are not problems? RZ performance? MSU strategy is to play conservative and wait for Montana to shoot itself in the foot. Has worked twice in a row.

Murray is a talented runner, but a one-dimensional QB. Sound D scheme contains him; a QB draw can be contained.

Kick the can down the road. We lose 17 seniors, so we are not as young as many suggest. And MSU now has the momentum and a streak.

We had drops in the first half that killed drives, and should have thrown the ball more overall, but the passing scheme was still working in this game. The Cats running 9 min.s off the clock on their first second half possession was a serious blow, as was the 30-yard scamper to Murray we gave up on 3rd and 35. So I'd be in favor of getting a more skilled defensive coordinator...

Every team the Cats faced said the same thing about Murray but could not stop him. Good luck next year as he gets better.

Well certainly. I mean, after all it IS their super bowl...

Six teams beat the Cats team. But they did not stop him. You guys could not stop him or the Cats team. Suck it up!
