And if we were getting him, you would be ecstatic. Lets keep it real here, he looks like a good player.
True...You can't get intelligent discussion over at scat back nation...   :egriz:bozely said:HookedonGriz said:Leave it to an idiot Bobcat fan to post video of their supposed new running back who was suspended and kicked off Nevada's team for violating team policies. Yay for you for landing a trouble maker and being excited about it.
Easy with the butthurt there, I posted this to start intelligent discussion :thumb:

Kirk is too slow to perform against the better defenses and has been very unimpressive against Montana. This kid looks better.bigsky33 said:EverettGriz said:bigsky33 said:The kid had an MIP and was late paying the fine. His coach said he was good kid in the article. Ash would not take a chance with a kid if he wasn't convinced that he is okay. It was a minor thing that happened. He was slated to be Nevada's # 1 running back.
Well, the story doesn't say what happened. Of course, the coach doesn't describe him as a good kid, either. He says he "doesn't think he's a bad kid". Those two sentences have far different meanings in my mind. That said, as I posted above, I think it's probably worth the risk.
The source on the MIP lives in Reno and went to the school and is a huge fan. Your right the coach said "he doesn't think he is a bad kid". There is a difference granted. Being the #1 running back on the depth chart I take means he has some game. They thought he was one of the best recruits that they had in years. Kirk is still number one. It appears Knight is the same type of power runner at 6'1" 225. He wil be good insurance if Kirk gets injured and a good chance of being more than that. I agree it was worth the risk!

you would be ecstatic because that "weak" prep team had at least four players, including their qb at u.c.l.a., sign at division one schools and washing out implies he wasn't talented enough, which is hard to say at this point. would you cut a player because he had four carries for 10 yards and a td in his frosh season and got a m.i.p.?snap said:PTGrizzly said:snap said::lol: So, 4 carries for 10 yards in 2 years at Nevada...sounds like a good one.

You're an idiot. Why would I be ecstatic about the Griz getting a RB that played against weak NE prep school "talent" and washed out at Nevada-Reno?
