Huse is a great coach, and I believe that if this kid is willing to work hard he could be very good. If he pans out that's great...if not, no scholarships were wasted, so not a big deal.

But look at the other side of it. If he was really such a hard worker maybe he should have worked a little harder at Maine and showed he deserved more minutes. His numbers didn't support more playing time, so the kid walked.
I don't blame Huse for taking him, like you said, no scholarship. If he tunrs into a player, it is a bonus. I still think Huse will get much better players than this kid. I wasn't saying anything bad about the kid or the program. I simpy said i am not too worried about him being some impact player. Now if you were to get the Notre Dame guard that is suspended from the team, and the school for smoking a little pot, then I would think you got a real coup.
