Most Underrated Griz Players

Looking at this years defense with much anticipation. I believe the two most underrated players on the team are both DL players.
1) Alex Gubner
2) Jacob McGourin

yup way better than the fickle fans give them credit for and I expect they will keep on performing this season too.

Braxton Hill is going to have a very good year in a very talented Grizzly linebacker corps on a very, very good defense. I think he would be categorized as under rated and will stand out this year.

I've always thought Nick Ostmo is underrated. Deceptive speed, better catcher out of the backfield than he gets credit for, great yards after contact... What else? Good vision.

distinction between "underrated" and "potential breakout player" needs to be noted.

underrated on offense: joey elwell. very good blocker. they use him in a lot of different alignments.
underrated on defense: nash fouch. is much faster than people realize and has excellent cover skills

I would like to make some changes to my original post. I'm really high on Gubner, however underrated is probably not the best description for him. He doesn't get the notoriety of O'Connel, Ford, and Hauck but his value to this defense is as high. I would also add Fouch and Graves to the underrated list. I love the ability of these two players in man coverage as well as walking up as an invert and playing as an OLB. The athletic and play making ability of these two players is very noticeable.
