Most impressive performance today?

Sneed looked damn good. D played pretty well. Really need the O-line to step up. They started to look much better in the later stages of the game which was encouraging.

Eastwood has about 1 more chance, but in no way should he start next week until he can figure out how to hang onto the damn ball.

Looking to see some big time improvement next week from our corners and across the LOS.

Eastwood needs to sit. Period.

Playerrep says otherwise. And playerrep has played the game. So playerrep is obviously right. Eastwood is a FANTASTIC running back with outstanding quicks, ball security and blocking

Generally Bobby Hauck is a man of his words and I believe he said “ball security is job security.”
I would be surprised if Eastwood sees the field in the first quarter next week. We’ll see but I would hate to see an otherwise pretty good player be defined by a huge weakness. Putting the ball on the ground is not cutting it.

As far as most impressive performance I give it to the entire team. They looked very good in all three phases for it being the first game and on the road. Great win!

Go Griz!

Eastwood could be a very good blocking back and could be more of a bruising style runner. He needs to hold on to the damn ball for sure. He is going to move to number three if he does not get his s—t together though. I actually hope he does.

I will take the opinion of Hauck and Justin Green over yours anyday and all day. Talk about never playing the game or understanding it.

I still dont have faith in our RBs. Maybe 100 yards rushing mainly thanks to Sneed. Think we will see over 300 yards passing tho.

Pretty much called it.

Yet somehow you missed the fact that the oline is still struggling to make a difference in the run game. Dam tough to run through lanes you likely are helping to make yourself.

If the OC called that pass play, It may give us some insight to his lack of confidence in our Red Zone Offense. And/or short yardage ball control offense necessary to close out an opponent. That said, i believe Bobby is struggling for a solution and will have better results as the season rolls on. Go Griz

On the running game, let's not put a whole bunch of judgement on the USD game until we see a bigger sample of work. I doubt anybody else will completely sell out on the run and let us complete every single underneath and quick out pass even though it was killing them. That was bizarre.

If we still can't run when teams play us more straight up and actually devote enough players to defend the pass I will be more concerned.

I hope he doesn't because our o-line can't take many more bruising hits to their backs from being run into.
Meanwhile Knight is causing opposing players to lose their jocks.

I believe ,as i have said before: Short yardage line play requires a few things. They have to get in an uncomfortable stance, Fire out on the H, of the hut,put your hat on em,climb their frame, smell their nasty breath, and knock their butt off the LOS.Now you backs, quit pussyfooting around in a sprinters stance, and run dead over the LB'ers, or safeties. Go GRiz

Idk I seen the o line open up some holes and the rbs just didn't go through them. Instead ran behind them. Its definitely a mix of both the o line and rb vision at fault. Can't just put it on one group.
