I agree that Moody -- with 59 treys for a 2.7 pg average through 22 games -- has already notched a spot among the best 3-point shooters in Montana history. He may well be the best at pure "catch-and-shoot," a skill I find a bit difficult to measure (catch & shoot with no dribble?).
I do think most of the best Montana long-range shooters succeeded at a combination of catch & shoot and dribble stop & pop scoring. Will Moody catch David Bell who, in both 2002 and 2003 made 98 treys... He's already tied Kendal Manuel's 2020 mark of 59, and 4 behind Ahmaad Rorie's 63 in 2019. Other Griz greats ahead of Moody's current 59, but definitely within reach include : Robby Beasley (66), Brandon Gfeller (72), Jordan Gregory (62 & 87), Ryan Staudacher (65 & 70), Matt Martin (65), Kevin Criswell (70), Mike Warhank (70), Gary Kane (68), and my all-time favorite... Jeremy Lake (62 & 76) in the 93-94 seasons.
