Montana vs North Dakota State on ESPN (2015)

Why wouldn't ESPN go to Missoula if being in the middle of no where is a draw?
Good question. Here's a clue. The last FCS NC game drew a 1.0 TV share (the best of the NC games the Bizon have played in) while the last ESPN game broadcast from Missoula, UM vs. App St., drew a 1.6 share. That compares two cities with small populations vs. the astounding NDSU fan base and that of the Houston area. NDSU's other championship game drew a .8. So there, that's your answer.

Dude, c'mon. Nobody goes to Fargo unless they absolutely have to. Missoula is packed with out of state visitors all summer long.
And then they leave. What does that tell you?

Montana population: 1,023,579.

NoDak: 739,482...and that's with all the convicted felons and sex offenders who flocked there to pump oil.

Many of which came from western MT because your economy is poor.

Yeah, I'm sure things are really looking up over there with oil below $40.

And our unemployment rate is 4.0% to NoDak's 3.0%. Big whoop.

And you have liberals taking over western MT. Have fun with that.

I'm curious if ESPN will be bringing thier "Pylon Cam" tactic to this game. In the FCS championship game it was pretty hoakie and needed a lot of bugs worked out. In recent NFL preseason games its clear that the tech has been improved, and gives a unique prespective of redzone action.

For a minute I thought you said "Python Cam"...

I usually bring along a cam in the bag with my snakes...

Never thought of putting the cam on one of 'em. Cool idea!

Looking very forward to my first visit to Missoula and Washington Grizzly stadium, and I hope it's as loud and wild as has been advertised. Hope we see a hard fought contest and everyone comes out of this injury free. Not here to talk any smack, but if you have some legitimate questions about the Bison, I'll happily discuss it with you guys.

Welcome. Put it this way if the stadium is still rocking hard at the 2:00 minute mark of the 4th quarter it will have been one hell of game :thumb: Washington Grizzly is flat out fun and the fans are awesome. Win or lose you will enjoy the trip......guaranteed.

Thanks! Honestly, I'm hoping it's only loud for a while, then would be very ok with it getting real quiet ;) I'm most likely going to be sitting alone as we ended up with some random single seats, so if I can talk with some knowledgeable and respectful Griz fans around me I'll be happy. One thing I'm very curious to see is how the Bison perform in this kind of an environment because I know y'all are going to make it tough on them.

I thought he meant that camera attached to wires that goes over the field
