:o :o The first few minutes of the Montana and Montana State basketball game was season changing. Here are some stats.

3 Point shots in that game: Montana 4-24 16% Montana State 12-31 39%

Montana 3 pointers Kevin Criswell 0-7 Matt Martin 1-8

Montana State Durham 6-10 Miller 4-11 Dissly 1-5 Jefferson 0-2

Season three point statistics

Montana Dlouhy .426 Martin .336 Criswell .295

MSU Conference Durham .328 Jefferson .298 Miller .330 Dissly .373
MSU xxxseason Durham .373 Jefferson .376 Miller.320 Dissly.333

After that game Montana has tried to abandon the use of the three, which has not been an easy transition but they will have some other options the third time around. Montana State has had some games where they could rest because the three is going in. They are a little more dependent on the three but will also need other options. Looking at those 2nd game stats and the season stats the picture is not that clear but Montana may have decided to solve the three point shooting problems in the third game by just not shooting the three. This time of year fans are always saying if we hit our threes we will be tough to beat. Not a lot a talk about what to do if your not hitting the three.
