Montana Loses a Good One...

The State of Montana and the sports community lost a great one yesterday. Historian Pat Kearney of Butte passed away yesterday. Great guy. Great Montanan. Great Sportsman. Great Author of "The Divide War" and other things. He will be missed.

"The Divide War" is an excellent reference book about the Griz-Cat rivalry. In it, Kearney stated he went to lengths to keep it fair and balanced to both teams, as he was a Cat fan/alum. He achieved his goal. Damn good book. R.I.P Pat.
